Are you a patriotic person towards your country? If so, what have you done for your nation? Marched on the road? Hold signs against your nation’s civil workers’? Fight in the war? Does this make you a patriotic or a good citizen? Maybe, but your are still incomplete. Being dedicated to your nation doesn’t entail all the above acts, what you do for the people around you matters the most. Take a look at Mother Theresa. She didn’t go to war; nor fought with politicians. What she did was to be with the people around her and help them make a better and healthy living. This is the true meaning of being a patriotic citizen.

If proactive steps are not initiated by the policy makers and scientist in collaboration with the captains of the industry, the continued temperature rises are bound to accelerate the melting of snows and glaciers resulting in rise in sea levels followed by catastrophic floods. In the first step we may see the extinction of few species and once the eco balance is disturbed Darwin’s theory of survival for the fittest would come into force. It is thus the duty of each and every one of us to take steps to save the planet earth if we have to live happily and healthily.
In a horrendous display of intolerance, the primary school teacher vented her displeasure on my four year old kid by scribbling all over his white shirt. When he returned home I naturally thought that it was the work of naughty boys. But I was aghast at what I heard; it seems at school the boys were learning and playing with number blocks, which were spotlessly white and as the kids were pulling the cards to one another, the white card had taken a spot of crayon. Seeing a crayon in the hand of my son, she decided on this course of action.

Our Body And Mind!
Sometimes when our body is so very tired, it takes over the mind too. Imagine yourself at the end of the day clearing up the kitchen and your eyes just want to close. You force yourself to clean up because you don’t like a dirty kitchen the next day. In the process, you land up keeping the cooking oil in the freezer and the milk on the open shelf. Imagine the surprise in the morning.

Some English soap operas can be so interesting to watch. They are full of drama, emotions, suspense and boredom too. The actors do their parts religiously everyday, and we viewers do ours by watching them everyday and allowing them to take over our daily lives too. Getting glued to the TV is a common scenario every where now.

Friends Or Foes?
Having a doubtful friend is the worst friend you can ever have in your life. Whatever you do or say, will be taken with doubts in their minds. Better to stay away from them then to be confronted with any accidental incidence. Also better not to have any friend than to have a person doubting you and your intentions. Be free from them please.
