The Environmental Protection Agency, US has manfully toiled in the last four decades to educate and create awareness in the aspects of man made pollution. The activities and promotions of the Agency have successfully created a huge consciousness among the people, who now take out Earth Day celebrations on 22 April every year to pledge reaffirmation to the principle of Green World. The efforts taken in reducing the carbon emission not only goes a long way in safeguarding earth, but also helps the economy by lowering expenditure on power generation. Renewable sources of energy should hopefully displace the conventional fossil energy.
